As much as possible, limit your servings of fatty foods and those that are filled with carbohydrates. Instead of fatty foods and lots of carbohydrates, serve some salads. If you expect a lot of people to attend your party, prepare extra food to make sure that every gets their fill.

Throwing a party cost a lot of money so you need to come up with a budget for your party and then try to limit your spending within your budget range. When making a budget, take into consideration the cost of the food, the wine and other expenses. Do not buy food and wine for your party on impulse. Buy only the things that you need for the party.
