Milk Chocolate Candy: Some of the Top Picks
Your options are almost endless when it comes to milk chocolate candy. There are so many different and delicious types of milk chocolate candy to choose from, that it often becomes confusing and even overwhelming just trying to decide on a single one.
There is milk chocolate fondue for one, which is great for dipping fruits like strawberries into. You will often see a milk chocolate fondue bowl or fountain at weddings and anniversaries, and this is easily one of the favorite types of milk chocolate candy. Milk chocolate fudge is very popular, but too sweet for the likes of many people.
Making Your Own
You can always make your own chocolate candy if you like, as it is quite a quick and easy process. The homemade turtles recipe is one of the favorites, and for it you will need 24 Kraft caramels, 72 pecan halves, and ¾ cup milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips.
To prepare you simply preheat the oven to 300 degrees, and grease two cookies sheets thoroughly. Now you want to arrange 3 of the pecan halves on the cookies sheets in the shape of a turtle, place a caramel on top of each cluster of nuts. Now you put the cookie sheets in the oven, leave in for about seven minutes or until softened, and remove to let cool.
These are delicious and taste just like the real thing, if not better. Just remember to multiply the recipe accordingly if you want to make a batch of these.
You don’t even need to follow a recipe if you don’t want to, just get some basic ingredients together and see what turns out.
