Marvelous Main Dishes

Italians are known for their scrumptious and sensual main dishes.  However, just because the food is high class does not mean it is not appropriate for children to eat.  There are many Italian food recipes that will please both adults and children alike.

One tried and true family favorite is Italian Meatballs.  To make Italian Meatballs, you will need:

300 g of mixed minced meat of pork and beef
100 ml of milk,
Extra virgin olive oil
30 g of breadcrumbs,
50 g of bread
1 egg,
salt and pepper to taste
30 g of grated Parmesan cheese
4-5 sweet cherry tomatoes.

To begin, combine the minced meat of pork and beef mixture with the egg, salt and pepper, and Parmesan cheese.  Mix well.  Next, break the bread into small pieces and dip the pieces into milk.  Add the bread pieces to the mixture and mix in.  The next step is to shape the mixture into the meatballs, making them whatever size you prefer.  In a frying pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil and cook the meatballs until they become brown.  Serve with the sweet cherry tomatoes.  For the best results, serve with red wine such as Teroldego Rotaliano.

Delicious Desserts

You should never eat a main dish Italian food recipe without eating a recipe for Italian dessert afterwards!  Italian desserts are known for being rich, sweet, and popular all around!  Try Chocolate Carnival Balls for a recipe that is sure to please the old and young alike!
