There are a ton of different Belgian chocolate recipes out there that you can use and prepare for yourself right at home, there are even sugar free Belgian chocolate recipes that you can find if you are interested in a delicious Belgian chocolate cake but have diabetes or simply want to cut back on the amount of fat.
Of all the different recipes out there, this gourmet Belgian chocolate brownies recipe is definitely one of the very best.
Gourmet Belgian Chocolate Brownies
For this gourmet Belgian chocolate recipe you are going to need 4 eggs, 4 egg yolks, 175g sugar, 175g best dark chocolate, 100g butter, 5 tablespoon flour, 1 pt cream, 7 yolks, 75g sugar, 1 vanilla pod, 125g Belgian dark chocolate, and 2 oranges.
To begin preparation of this gourmet Belgian chocolate recipe you need to whisk together the eggs, egg yolks and sugar until the mixture becomes very light and fluffy, almost white in color. Then you want to melt the chocolate and butter together, and then add the whisked egg mixture to this. Fold in the flour and then sprinkle this over the chocolate chips.
Now you want to put this mixture into ramekins and bake for about 15 minutes in the oven until it has risen a centimeter or so above the rim. Now to make the ice cream you need to heat the cream and vanilla together, and then bring up to a boil and pour over the mixed egg yolks and sugar. Now you want to cook for a further 2 minutes until the mixture coats the back of your spoon.
Just make sure that you do not overheat the mixture, because if you do your eggs will curdle and this will ruin the entire recipe. This is not necessarily a difficult recipe to prepare but you definitely do need to follow it with caution.
Also keep in mind that this is just one out of the many different gourmet Belgian chocolate recipes that are out there, so perhaps you would prefer a cake or cupcakes – the decision is entirely up to you.
If you have never worked with Belgian chocolate before, because it can be so much more expensive than other types of chocolate, you may want to stick to an easier recipe, at least until you have a bit more experience and are aware of how to work with the chocolate. Then you can start trying out more things.
